The Role:
We are looking for a software developer to build the next generation of integration technology for decentralized business networks. Embedded into the Catena-X initiative you will help to develop a modern distributed integration technology for uniform data-exchange along the value chain of the automotive industry. As a pioneer in technology, you will help our automotive customers and their global partners to resolve today’s business challenges towards a prosperous and sustainable economy. 
As part of a cross-unit project team you will be responsible to implement innovative prototypes and validate them with lighthouse customers, research new technologies and practices, conduct product definition and architecture work, design and program product features by following agile development practices, provide thought-leadership in designing the next generation of integration technology, and contribute to company strategic open-source projects. 
You will work in a startup-like atmosphere helping to build a gateway to a digital economy in the automotive industry. You will have a measurable impact on customer growth in one of the most strategic initiatives at SAP.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in software development
  • Programming skills in Java and Web technologies like SAP UI5, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in cloud-native and open-source development practices
  • Knowledge in container management technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset
  • Ability to adapt fast to changing technologies and frameworks
  • Passionate to cloud engineering 
  • Fluent in English
