What you'll do

SAP Business Network is a cloud-based collaboration offering that helps customers to transform disconnected supply chains into unified, collaborative, and intelligent networks to remove barriers and centralize data. With a unified network, customers can connect all their trading partners through a single directory, collaborate using shared data and workflows.

We are looking for a highly engaged Associate Developer with strong cloud development interest to strengthen our newly formed team of talented, supportive and motivated colleagues.

As an Associate Developer for SAP Business Networks for Logistic (BN4L), you have the exciting opportunity to join a growing product in its early phase. Together with the team and colleagues from across the globe you will impact the success for the further growth of BN4L.

Tasks:

• Develop a cloud application using Java and UI5 technologies following our SAP product architecture
• Participate in an agile environment and join our Scrum team
• Engage with the team to foster a cloud native culture while improving our cloud development processes
• Following the “You built it – you run it” principle you keep a special focus to non-functional requirements to support Cloud DevOps (e.g., monitoring and application logging) which enables the teams to provide best-in-class DevOps services to our customers

But even biggest experiences and deepest knowledge requires eagerness to learn and grow, a strong team spirit, very good communication skills, awareness of cultural differences and a fundamental believe that everybody wants to have a positive impact.

Beside your convincing personality you also have knowledge or experience in:

• Java and UI5 development
• A strong Cloud Mindset and a sense of responsibility for the complete life cycle of a service in a cloud environment
• Ideas on how to set up and define a DevOps and Monitoring environment
