PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The ATLAS program is an SAP Top-X project to implement full end-to-end automation for the entire ECS offering (PCE Packaged, PCE Tailored, HEC). As the project is about to go live with the first customers and new customers for a while need to be supported in a (semi) manual mode still we are looking for lead resources to organize the go-lives and later large-scale migrations into the new Atlas systems.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
This is a project role within the CAA Global organization where a lot of interaction is required with the regular regional CAA organization, ECS Delivery and Deal Execution and downstream processes like order-to-invoice and Revenue Recognition.
As Architect you are responsible for a region MEE to onboard new and existing customers into the Atlas automation platform. Depending workload, you may also work on other regions in the same time zone (EMEA North or EMEA South)
As not all functionality is available in the automated platform, for early adopting customers we need to support still in a semi-manual model. As implementation Cloud Architect you work closely with the regular CAA Architects in your (time zone) region, external project resources for scaling volume and the ECS delivery organization
As implementation cloud architect you will train regional cloud architects into the new platform and hand over migrated or new customers towards the standing organization, you will be second line support to the regional cloud architects in case of questions or issues
WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Experience in the current CAA organization or Atlas project is absolute must
- Pro-active – in large scale projects going live lots of unexpected exceptions will happen
- Affinity with project-based implementations and end-to-end processes
- Willing to analyze issues that arise from go-lives, propose solutions, manage firefighting, align with your regional lead for permanent solutions and fixes and ECS for process fixes
- Eye on details, focus on the larger project
- Coach, train CAA colleagues in the standing regional organization and the external resources that will assist in scaling up
