YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The BTP Ecosystem Development Manager MEE (f/m/d) signs responsible for building and evolving an ecosystem and respective strategic partnerships for the BTP Solution Area. He/she develops an overall ecosystem strategy in close collaboration with the SAP business owners and drives select Focus Partner engagements for the assigned specialized business area across all Partner motions (Sell / Service / Software) to steer Partner investment and performance.He/she provides guidance and advisory to Partners and Partner Managers on strategy, positioning and sales engagement in the respective business area. The role also includes SAP-internal stakeholder orchestration across Development, Solution and Field roles assigned to the respective business area in support of strategic partnerships.
- Plan and project manage partner program related aspects including identify mid-term directions, decision proposals, execution plans process optimization and quality assurance
- Plan the go-to-market approach towards partners in the business segment, including e.g., plan and facilitate partner communication and rollouts
- Convert business objectives into compelling partner messaging and assets
- Facilitate program execution in the business segment and partner types
- Track, measure, report on program effectiveness against targets and propose enhancements
- Establish a relevant business network with internal and external stakeholders
- Roll-in of global partner programs into MEE region and market-units
- Build on next-gen services for Partner Ecosystem success
This regional role, represents the BTP EDM (Ecosystem Development Management) Team in the MEE region towards partners and senior regional SAP stakeholders, including:
- Roll-out partner programs in the MEE region, in alignment with Cloud Core regional teams
- Facilitate partner and field inquiries as well as the systematic roll-in of partner feedback
- Liaise with local and regional SAP stakeholders on Market Unit priorities and the adoption of partner ecosystem programs
- Validation of partner offerings before launch with key partners in region
The role reports to the head of Channel & Ecosystem Success in MEE and will closely interact with other team members in the regional BTP team, the MEE Market Unit channel heads and global entities.
YOUR PROFILE
- 8+ years of professional working experience in Business Development, Partner Management and/or equivalent Business Consulting role
- Expert level on SAPs BTP portfolio and ERP Cloud Core applications
- Sales drive and behavior know how, how to monetize Cloud solutions
- Hands-on experience in go-to-market strategy planning and execution, ideally in the area of partner management or support
- Experienced in SAP Partner Edge execution, preferably with hands-on experiences in commercialization and/or downstream program and deal fulfillment processes
- Senior Management level presentation experience
- Strong analytical ‘management consultant’ type problem solving
- Fluent English and German language skills are mandatory
