What you’ll do 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Architect (m/f/d) to support the Executive Board Member for SAP Product Engineering in security and cloud compliance related topics.

As Chief Security and Compliance Advisor (m/f/d) you will be briefing the Executive Board Member in security and cloud compliance relevant questions (e.g. contractual implications w/r to regulatory boundaries, sanctions, customer escalations) and as substitute for the Executive Board Member in internal steering bodies as required. One of your responsibilities will be to ensure due diligence in the security and cloud compliance exception process on behalf of the executive board member. To support the suite-first strategy, you will be driving follow ups on behalf of the Executive Board Member and drive alignment and harmonization across the board area.

Given the strategic importance of security and cloud compliance related topics and their complexity one of your core responsibilities will be to clarify questions from the Executive Board Member on dedicated aspects of security and cloud compliance arising through customer escalations, partner engagements etc.

What you bring 

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Informatics or related fields
• 5+ years working experience in cybersecurity core areas (Secure Development, Incident Response, Enterprise Vulnerability Management, Data Privacy, Risk Management, Recovery)
• 5+ years working experience in common certification standards for IT Business, Business Continuity and Quality Management (e.g. SOC 1/2, ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO9001, C5)
• Knowledge in ISO27001 Lead Auditor or Corporate Audit and experience in implementing IT compliance requirements (ISO, SOC, C5 etc.)
• Knowledge in IT enterprise operations and IT infrastructure technologies
• Excellent knowledge of SAP’s Security Standards and Frameworks and ability to translate regulatory requirements into control frameworks
• Very result-oriented, ability to drive necessary steps in time-critical situations across LoBs and board areas and ability to challenge complexity
• Excellent communication skills (C-level)
• Fluent English language skills, German is a plus

Meet your team

With security and compliance as highly critical, visible, and sensitive topic, we will put together a small virtual team of experienced experts to advise the executive board member and ensure due diligence for the board area SAP Product Engineering. Aligning across the PE LoBs to support harmonization and provide early warning to the Executive Board Member as required will be a core responsibility.
