The Role

We, the SAP HANA Database & Analytics Security team, are looking for an experienced security and cloud enthusiast with practical experience on what it takes to implement best in class security and compliance requirements in complex cloud environments.
 
In this role you will work as part of the team to 

• support developers, architects, operators and quality teams to understand, implement and document cloud security requirement.
• design and execute technical, architectural and operational measures and processes to address security and compliance requrements.
• analyze the security impact of architectures, deployments and implementations
• lead strategic projects

In addition to working as part of the security team you will build strong relationships with peers, teams across a global organization.

Constant learning and development as well as developing new ideas is part of the job in order to stay on top of newest developments in security technologies threats and solutions.  

Role Requirements

• 5+ years experience in security, compliance or related fields
• Deep understanding of security technologies like Network Security, Identify & Access Management and methodologies like threat-modeling
• Experience with IT technologies in particular cloud technologies like docker, kubernetes, linux, hyperscaler security (e.g. AWS, Azure)
• Ability to understand, analyze and design complex cloud networks
• Experience in development and scripting languages is of advantage
• Understanding relevant compliance regulations like ISO27K, SOC, GDPR, NIST CSF
• Track record of leading security initiatives and projects to successfull execution
• Willingness to learn, develop new skill and learn new technologies  
• Fluent English and German spoken
