YOUR FUTURE ROLE

 

We are looking for a talented and passionate Controller to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with your colleagues to create a Central Forecast that predicts the financial development for SAP Group in a standardized and data-driven manner. Your primary responsibilities will include analysing specific segments of the P&L, recognizing data trends, and creating and implementing innovative Forecast models, utilizing predictive analytics and Machine Learning algorithms to continuously optimize the Central Forecast. You will also be involved in strategic projects aimed at optimizing, standardizing, and automating our overall financial forecasting process. This will include the development of new tools in collaboration with other teams to support their implementation and adoption. The utilization of advanced planning and analytics tools will enhance forecast efficiency and the quality of our revenue and expense predictions.

 

YOUR PROFILE

   

  • Master of Business Administration, Mathematics or Business Informatics
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel/PowerPoint), SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both, English and German
  • Comprehensive mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Predictive Analytics/ Data Mining/ Statistics
  • Strong background in data analysis 
  • High interest in innovative IT solutions for continuous process improvement
  • Passionate about researching, testing and optimizing new solutions 
  • Proven ability to work in a team

 

ABOUT THE TEAM  

 

Join our team at the Center of Expertise (CoE) “Central Forecast & Subsidiary Controlling” within Corporate Controlling, where we focus on the financial central forecast process for the SAP Group. Our team regularly provides a total year revenue and expenses forecast on SAP Group level to the Executive Board, using standardized financial calculation models and predictive analytics tools. In addition, we offer expert advice on specific revenue and expense types, prepare ad-hoc revenue and cost analyses for SAP’s top management, and are involved in strategic projects with major impact on SAP’s future financial steering and reporting.
