As a Developer (Associate) (f/m/d) you will collaborate with a highly engaged team to develop product features for SAP S/4HANA that help our customers to run their logistics business processes at their best. As a fully digitized and integrated Business Suite SAP S/4HANA is a key pillar of SAP’s strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers’ digital transformation especially in the cloud.

As part of an agile scrum team, with a strong focus on product quality and customer success you will continuously develop your skills and increase your knowledge regarding logistics business processes and technology. In your role you will:

  • design, code, and test new product features together with product owners, designers, experts, and software architects 
  • use agile methods like test driven development and pair programming to secure excellent quality 
  • drive co-innovation with important global customers 
  • support your team by taking over additional technical or organizational tasks


You are a team player and you use your communication skills to drive topics with analytical and conceptual strength. In a fast-changing environment you are flexible and can adapt to new situations in your daily job.

You have:

  • a good degree in computer science, information systems, business informatics, mathematics, or a related field 
  • competencies in data structures, algorithms, databases, and software design
  • interest and knowledge in logistical business processes 
  • good programming skills in ABAP Objects, Java or another object-oriented language
  • You are fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
  • Prior professional experience is not required.


The engineering unit Digital Supply Chain - Core Logistics supports SAP’s strategy by developing logistics applications related to Inventory and Delivery Management, Kanban, Batches, Serial Numbers and Handling Units.
