What you’ll do

We are looking for a for a Developer Associate (f/m/d) who wants to start a career in business software development to work in a diverse scrum team in the application unit ERP Public Cloud Engineering Accounting. You will apply methods of the lean development model and agile software engineering. You will contribute to improving and re-defining General Ledger functionalities for better usability and easier consumption with strong Cloud focus.

 

  • Contribute to and drive all aspect of development life-cycle, including requirements verification, solution building and alignments with stakeholders, architectural design, implementation, testing to meet quality criteria, and processes to deliver best solutions to our customers.
  • Code in ABAP and JavaScript.
  • Contribute to automation of General Ledger processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues.
  • Acquire and apply financial know-how.

 

What you bring

  • Good Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • Passion for technology and software engineering.
  • Knowledge of financial processes and applications would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and solution building skills as well as the initiative to deliver results.
  • You value teamwork and have excellent collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Fluenct English language skills oral written, German would be a plus.
  • Some experience with computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
  • JavaScript and ABAP programming skills would be a plus.
  • Experience in recent technologies (CDS Views /OData /RAP /Fiori-Elements / SAP UI5 /GitHub and Jira) would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Engineering practices, Scrum, Design Thinking would be beneficial.
