Meet the team 

The mission of SAP S/4HANA and the Public Cloud ERP Product Management team is to drive and grow SAP’s core business as a market leader in cloud ERP. We are responsible for defining product scenarios based on market and target customer needs and translating them into consumable product requirements for engineering teams. We work hand-in-hand with our engineering and product marketing teams, as well as with our customers and partners on continuously improving our S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition product. Product Management is the authoritative voice of the legitimate challenges customers face, evangelizing an outcome-based product vision and roadmap that truly solves customer pain points by creating products that delight, yet serve the needs of SAP.

The Role

We are looking for a passionate candidate (m/f/d) that can lead a professional and future-oriented cloud product management team. Ideally, you bring a track record in leading multi-national cloud and state-of-the-art SaaS teams and are used to working in a fast-paced and agile organization. You will need to drive your organization towards a true SaaS mindset and setup, and quickly establish credibility and trust with key SAP leaders, product marketing and product management teams, engineering teams, customers, and your future peers. As a manager, you will have a CEO mindset, meaning you have accountability for driving success and growth of your respective product area.  

What you’ll do

The Head of Public Cloud ERP Cross Product Management (m/f/d) will report to Sabrina Kunze, Head of Service Centric & Cross ERP and lead a team across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Lead a highly motivated and world class product management unit with focus on driving our SaaS Transformation that supports the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition’s strategic direction and growth ambitions 
• Drive Process excellence: provide Portfolio Planning Governance, run continuous Portfolio Planning meetings with harmonized priority and backlog ranking and alignment with Engineering L3 organization 
• Set-up and run Program & Delivery Management for large or complex projects and initiatives with high coordination efforts
• Drive SaaS Transformation in Product Management: strive for process excellence, evaluate the right tool framework and provide tool support, provide support for change management for roles and processes
• Support the product managers in providing Key Release Innovation communication material and What's new communication for product releases
• Engage customers, partners, and other stakeholders at all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure we are solving the right problems and building products our customers need  
• Create a highly innovative organization with strong focus on Employee Engagement and leadership NPS

What you bring

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in the software industry, preferably in Product Management
• Strong ability to strive for process excellence and experiences in ralleying the team and stakeholders around the change always aiming for process improvements that are tangible internally and externally
• Excellent people management & leadership skills and ability to deal with high pressure from internal and external stakeholders 
• Excellent verbal, communication skills with the customers, partners and internal teams, as well as board/executive level presentation skills
• Ideally, an international track record showcasing that you can effectively relate to multicultural teams 
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with demonstrable success in previous positions
• Expertise in one or multiple of the core topics mentioned above would be advantageous
• Fluent or near-native English language skills
