Summary
We are looking for an experienced investigator to work on matters relating to bribery, corruption and fraud. The candidate will be part of the Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC). The team focuses on helping SAP ‘Win the Right Way’ by providing guidance and training that enables employees to reject bribery and corruption. OEC helps to protect SAP’s business by mitigating the risks of non-compliance, and this includes investigating all instances of potential or suspected non-compliance that are considered substantial and criminal in nature.
In this position, you will report to the Regional Compliance Officer Investigations for EMEA/MEE and conduct internal investigations in the area of, but not limited to, bribery, corruption and fraud. You will work closely with Field Compliance Officers or other colleagues inside or outside of OEC.
 
The Role
•    Independently plan and lead internal investigations
•    Plan and lead forensic interviews
•    Conduct forensic reviews, e.g. analysis of cash flows, communication review
•    Prepare investigation results clearly and in a timely manner in a report and define measures to improve process deficiencies
•    Liaise and effectively collaborate with the OEC team and other stakeholders
•    Serve as trusted advisor and functional peer to other teams within the organization
 
Role Requirements
•    Overall 5+ years of experience in compliance or related field and extensive experience in compliance investigations 
•    Graduation from accredited law school or accounting body or equivalent work experience
•    Experience in forensic reviews, esp. using e-discovery tools and other investigative tools
•    Experience in performing root cause analysis
•    Strong analytical skills 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
•    Integrity and responsibility for your work
