What you’ll do
 
We are looking for a Cloud Developer (Associate) (f/m/d) to join our team that will support solution development with the newest Cloud technologies. Your responsibilities include to: 
 

• Help cloud-based applications to integrate authentication and authorization features into their products by implementing and maintaining cloud Security Client Libraries to integrate security services consumption into business applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and cloud technologies, based on customers’ requirements and aiming for a wide range of use cases. 
• Optimize application performance and scalability by leveraging cloud services and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues.

 
What you bring

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and proven experience as a Developer.
• Strong understanding of JAVA and JAVA Spring programming language and its ecosystem or similar technologies.
• Knowledge in microservices architecture, SaaS, multi-tenancy. 
• Fluency both written and spoken in English; German language skills are beneficial.

 
Tech you bring
You are experienced with JAVA and JAVA Spring-based cloud development and have a first understanding of user authentication and authorization features and standards such as OIDC, SAML OAUth2.0, JWT. 
 
Tech you'll learn
You will learn how to integrate security controls into cloud applications for example access control,  token and certificate validation. You will discuss potential solutions with team architects and stakeholders. The main language will be JAVA, but node.js and GoLang are also relevant in our team.

Our team develops and operates the new central Authorization Management Service which is part of SAP Cloud Identity Services.
