National Security Business Enablement Director (f/m/d)

YOUR FUTURE ROLE     

 

The SAP Government Security unit is looking for a National Security Business Enablement Director (f/m/d) to support the global government security portfolio. The candidate will seek opportunities to build and improve internal business enablement operations and will be directly responsible for the daily execution of such processes. The candidate will also have a role in collaborating with the government security team globally.   

 

Core responsibilities include:
 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the public sector and highly regulated industries to understand their unique challenges, engagements, requirements, and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal government security teams to develop and execute strategies to enable business growth and drive customer success.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures governing work in the public sector and defense industry.
  • Create and drive enablement of a wider SAP sales team in collaboration with sales & learning and various market unit resources.
  • Support the fulfillment of government security and regulatory requirements in government, public sector, and highly regulated industries across consulting, sales, pre-sales, and other market unit teams.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the company to identify gaps, develop programs, and execute against the defined deliverables.
  • Maintain internal reporting and ensure senior management receive customer briefings
  • Assist with the coordination, preparation and submission of documents related to customer visits and activities.

YOUR PROFILE

You are interested in learning about security and compliance in a global company that is enabling some of the most security-conscious organizations in the world. 

 

  • Bachelor's degree as a minimum (or comparable certification/in-firm training/experience) in Business Administration, Information Technology, Security, Business, Public Policy, International Affairs, Government Relations, or related discipline/academic program.
  • Solid experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on business enablement and stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience working in the Public Sector and Defense industries.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Display a high degree of integrity, discretion and professionalism when exposed to sensitive information.
  • Confident written and oral communication skills, including presenting to groups of people
  • Working knowledge and understanding of government security processes
  • Self-starter and comfortable initiating and building government relationships
  • Former government employee is a plus
  • Able to both work within a team and as an individual contributor
  • Fluent German and English language skills (verbal and written), other languages considered an asset

The SAP Government Security unit is part of the SAP CEO Board Area and has a mandate to ensure strict fulfillment of regulatory obligations in the context of various contract security programs world-wide. The global SAP Government Security team focuses on security obligations and risks associated with federal, provincial, municipal, and highly regulated industry customers with special security requirements.
