PhD Student (f/m/d) - In Public Sector

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Industry Business Unit Public Sector is a global organizational unit helping all levels of government organizations to maximize public value, SAP for Public Sector solutions enable governments to optimize limited resources in public administration across a wide range of government functions, from accounting and procurement to case management and social and postal services.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a highly motivated student (f/m/d) who:
•    Enjoys supporting the execution of innovation and focus programs (e.g. Circular Economy and Public Services, Future of Work, Government 5.0 and Public Sector Accounting, Responsible AI on Public Services)
•    Works closely with different parts of the organization to fulfill project objectives (e.g. Sales, Marketing) and is interested in having customer contact via a phone conversation and in person.
•    Prepares presentation materials, internal communication and serve ad hoc management request
You will have the possibility to gain both practical experience and theoretical knowledge within a highly motivated and international team. Supported and guided by a disciplinary and professional Manager, you will be able to gain valuable insights in how SAP helps to run the world better and improve people’s lives.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You are a currently enrolled Phd Student/ doctoral candidate (f/m/d)at a university or a university of applied sciences:
•    Basic knowledge in Business Software
•    Good knowledge in MS Office
•    Ability to work both on his/her initiative and in an international team
•    Good in thinking strategically, innovative but also practical
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English, Central or Eastern European language is a plus
•    Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
