The Presales Ecosystem Team is a newly established team with the aim to support dedicated SAP Partners from the perspective of the Platform and Technology (P&T) portfolio in a high-touch presales approach and noticeably increase P&T revenue via this Go-to-Market channel.
To do so, your main responsibilities are to generate, qualify and push forward opportunities with dedicated Partners and the respective P&T sales teams (Sell Through Approach). This includes the joint definition of target accounts, the promotion of sales plays and the associated coordination within the P&T sales organization and/or respective other SAP organizations. You compose and deliver superior value-based sales presentations covering P&T software solutions to prospective audiences and support the respective sales cycles.  


Another essential part of the task is to identify new contacts, especially in the technical areas (S4 Projects) but also in the sales/partner area, in order to place the P&T solution portfolio in all areas and projects. All these activities happen in close collaboration and alignment with the P&T leadership and respective account teams in your local market, as well as other regional or global functions if needed (e.g. SAP Global Partner Organization, etc.). Your target accounts are midsize SAP implementation partners. This role requires deep technical expertise in the field of analytics, cloud platforms and, in the best case, S4 project experience. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or comparable.  
  • Several years of professional working experience in presales and/or software-/services sales, solution architecture and/or SAP consulting, with technical experience.
  • Broad knowledge of the SAP solution portfolio and the ability to cover discussions with customers. 
  • Profound understanding of SAP P&T portfolio, especially SAP Analytics Cloud and Integration and Extension Suite, in best case with S4 sales or consultancy experience.
  • Ability to create and present complexe solutions to customers, especially in a technical context.
  • Experience in sales and sales processes 
  • Ideally experienced in partner presales and/or sales
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory
