What you`ll do

Summary:
Database Migration Factory team collaborates with cross product management, solutions management, engineering, marketing, pre-sales, COE and GPO team and drive database migration and adoption activities. We also manage a virtual team of developers and architects from different SI partners that work as SAP’s own extended teams.

The Role:

• Supporting the development and execution of the HANA Cloud migration and adoption strategies across solution areas
• Creating sample programs for new and upcoming technology as well as writing technical assets and whitepapers for internal and external audiences
• Participate in internal SAP field readiness, customer and partner enablement webinars on HANA Cloud migration and adoption topics
• Administering feedback gathering programs, responding to queries from customers/partners and monitoring online communities
• Collaborate with HANA Cloud product management and engineering teams and support customers/partners in addressing high priority customer incidents relating to HANA Cloud migrations
• Tracking and reporting on HANA Cloud migrations and adoption across cloud to cloud & on-premise to cloud migration use cases

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
• Strategic mindset
• Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and technologies
• Ability to work independent and in (virtual) teams
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (database and applications) 
• Excellent knowledge of SAP database technologies: SAP HANA Cloud and SAP HANA 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 4+ years in product-related roles in the Database, Data Management or Analytics space, focusing on solutions like SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BW, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BusinessObjects
• 4+ years in Customer-facing roles
• Knowledge of SAP Applications migration is a plus
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
