What You’ll Build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: SAP Corporate Sustainability Intern (f/m/d)
Location: Walldorf, Germany
Internship duration: 6 months
In this role, you’ll be an active member of the Corporate Sustainability team. The team leads SAP’s sustainability transformation to drive business success, avoid harm, and create positive impact for people and the planet. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to further embed sustainability into SAP’s corporate strategy and everything we do. This means identifying and acting on key impacts, risks, and opportunities in line with science, shaping SAP decision-making to consider sustainability, and leading environmental and human rights initiatives and programs. We invite you to become part of the team and take responsibility for the below tasks:
- Contribute to the implementation of SAP’s environmental management system (ISO 14001), climate adaption strategy and nature investments
- Research and present climate-related topics
- Aggregate and analyze environmental and risk data
- Create sustainability content for internal communication and documentation
- Support the evaluation of stakeholder dialogues
- Contribute to a diverse portfolio of sustainability initiatives
What You’ll Bring

- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study:
- Environmental sciences, business administration, sustainability or related fields
IT skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (esp. MS Excel and PowerPoint)
Language skills:
- Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken
Desired soft skills:
- Passion for sustainability and the environment
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Structured way of working
- Proactiveness
