The Product & Services Team is part of the Intelligent Data Management organization in IES. We play a vital role in delivering trusted data to the business through giving data purpose, establishing data standards with the business process owner and ensuring that data flows are managed across the entire SAP process and system landscape. It is a diverse team consisting of data object owners who drive mainly strategic topics and contribute to critical projects; data analysts work hand in hand with object owners by conducting root cause analysis and implementation of data quality rule and data operations colleague working on day to day business issues via central shared service framework. All people in this team work towards an aligned strategy and closely collaborate to get business critical issues solved and by that individual jobs delivered. 

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

In a cross functional team – IT delivery, Architecture, Process Owner – you will translate business requirements into data and configuration models. You will work with closely with Variant Configuration specialist in the team and wider ecosystem to create prototypes and integrate the configuration model into the E2E process. It is expected that you act as a true ambassador of data literacy and with that helps SAP to transform into a data driven culture. 

Responsibilities also include the following:
•    Support the definition and creation of Configuration Model for License Materials along the full lifecycle incl. Operations – create, update, delete
•    Embed Material Configuration into the overall SAP process and system landscape 
•    Conduct E2E Testing 
•    Establish Data Governance and Quality measures for the new configuration models

YOUR PROFILE

•    Several years of experience in Variant Configuration Modeling ideally SAP Standard Trainings (PLM145, PLM146)
•    Technical/engineering background with experience in data modeling and SAP Classification System
•    Basic understanding of SD/MM customizing incl. Bill-of-Materials
•    Comprehensive understanding of Master Data Management, Data Governance
•    Good understanding of the as-is data and enterprise architecture 
•    High level of enthusiasm for devising new scenarios, investigating, prototyping and operationalizing; ability to understand and structure complex situations
•    Basic project management skills
•    Fluency in English and German, both written and verbal 
•    Experience of working in dynamic cross functional environment
•    Hands-on experience and use of SAP systems and reporting tools is beneficial
