We are looking for a SAP Product Learning Senior Portfolio Manager for Programming / ABAP / BPI (m/f/d) to join our team as a Portfolio Manager focusing on our learning offerings on programming topics, especially ABAP and for SAP BPI. You will design and drive our learning portfolio for customers, partners and internal learners and will build your own network at SAP as you work closely with product management, partner management, consulting and other teams in SAP Learning to provide a world class training curriculum.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define target audiences.
  • Stay up to date on Solution, Product Roadmap and Product Strategy.
  • Create overall enablement plan based on product strategy adoption targets, assigned investment budget, and in alignment with relevant stakeholder eco-system.
    • Drive enablement plan and design via Learning Journey Design workshops.
    • Including all enablement offerings, i.e,  delta knowledge, education training offerings, SAP Learning Hub, Certification, etc. Alignment with openSAP to include MOOCs into enablement plan.
  • Drive our learning transformation for the SAP Developer community with our new site
  • Generate active learners with your portfolio to ensure SAP programming knowledge in the market Adherence/Adoption/Customer Satisfaction) and balancing commercial and innovation adoption objectives




  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Business owner mindset with a deep understanding of the entire value chain from strategy and portfolio through development to go-to-market and sales.
  • Strong networking skills and track record in customer relationship management.
  • Solid understanding of SAP product strategy and offerings, products launch & introduction processes and related knowledge transfer needs.
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP programming, especially ABAP and Java Script
  • Knowledge in SAP Business Process Intelligence
  • First-hand experience in customer-facing role, or alternatively, in product development.
  • Preferable experience (5+ years) and success in consulting, education delivery, product/solution ownership, or education/knowledge transfer.
  • Portfolio, project or program management experience, including budget responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross functional collaboration projects & teams.
