About the team:

 

The Security Risk Assurance Team is part of the SAP Global Security Risk Management organization. The team provides risk-based oversight and oversees the end-to-end Security Risk Management process, including Planning, Identification, Assessment, Response, Monitoring, Reporting, and communicating security risks to the SAP Board and the Lines of Business (LoBs) aligned with the SAP Global Risk Management Policy. The analysis of collected data enables the LoBs to prioritize risks and make informed response decisions as part of a cyclical and iterative risk management process.

 

What you’ll do

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Security Risk Management

Location: Walldorf, Germany (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: October 2023

 

In this role, you’ll:

 

  • Support the team with the creation of project documents and risk reports.
  • Work alongside the Security Risk Managers to support SAP’s Lines of Businesses and central functions with their day-to-day Security Risk Management duties.
  • Learn about Security Risk Quantification and the RiskLens tool utilized at SAP.
  • Update and maintain the team’s WIKI page.
  • Share your passion for Security and Risk Management

 

Who you are:

 

  • Currently enrolled at an university focusing on Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or similar
  • Ideally, you have some experience in consulting, (security) risk management, auditing, compliance, or cybersecurity.
  • Willingness to learn but also be creative to solve challenges.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are crucial
  • Fluent English (required). Fluent German (desirable)

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
