About the team:
The SAP Industries and Customer Advisory (ICA) organization brings together the Presales, Industry & Value Advisory as well as Industries teams.  Based on the deep understanding of our customers’ industries and working closely with our partners, we offer advisory act as trusted advisors to SAP customers worldwide. We provide clear guidance, roadmaps, and demos that help customers understand how to maximize value from their SAP solutions and improve their core processes. We are also constantly innovating and sharing industry best practices which companies can use to transform into Intelligent Enterprises. Ultimately, it allows them to provide better experiences for their customers and be more resilient to evolving industry trends and market conditions.

 

What you’ll do:
Position title:  Intern (f/m/d) ICA Strategy & Transformation
Work Area: Marketing
Location: Walldorf
Expected start date: January 2023


In this role, you’ll:
We are looking for a motivated and curious student (f/m/d) who wants to join the Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) COO and Transformation office as an intern for at least 6 months to drive strategic projects for the ICA president, the ICA COO and the Leadership Team.

You will support the ICA COO & Transformation team, a small, diverse, high performing team with members from top management consulting companies (e.g. BCG, Bain, McK) and experts with strong business background and history in relevant domains.

 

 Your specific tasks include: 

  • Support all aspects of problem solving and strategy formulation including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations
  • Support the adoption of the SAP Industry Cloud Program
  • Support work on high-profile engagements along with SAP senior management and on decision proposals for the SAP Executive Board 
  • Conduct sophisticated business and financial analyses
  • Gather knowledge on new subject matter from across a range of source 

 

Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Management, Economics, Business Informatics
  • Computer skills: Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge (focus on PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a proactive, structured manner with a hands-on, reliable working style
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility and motivated to work in an international and intercultural team
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate
  • Responsibility and ability to drive topics open-mindedly and focused on the end-result
  • Others: Previous SAP or consulting experience would be highly appreciated

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
