About the team:
The mission of the Data Protection and Privacy & IT Works Council Collaboration Team is to support teams at SAP to run efficiently and to implement their processes compliantly. We are part of the Strategic Compliance & Trust Office (SCTO) unit with an overall responsibility for implementing a proper IT Governance model across different units and board areas and ensuring compliance and transparency regarding Data Protection and Privacy and IT Works Council Co-Determination.
We are a global team, collaborating across various locations in Germany, the United States and China.
What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP {Data Protection and Privacy & IT Works Council Collaboration} iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Project Management Data Protection and Privacy
Work Area: Corporate Operations
Location: Walldorf
Expected start date: March, 2025
In this role, you’ll:
- Help to drive transparency by analyzing use cases, maintaining reports and presenting outcomes to our target groups.
- Be part of strategic as well as operational decisions on how to implement innovation topics out of the IT portfolio (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Anonymization, Contact Interest Intelligence) in a compliant way.
- Work on cross-team projects to build the bridge between SAP internal IT stakeholders and SAP’s Data Protection Office. You will be introduced to how SAP is breaking down projects from a strategic and operational level to single applications and platforms.
- Support the planning, execution and follow-up of expert meetings and compliance audits.
- Support our stakeholders by sharing the latest information / knowledge (e.g. with reports, quality reviews).
- Contribute to our quality initiatives.
- Support project communication activities, including organizing awareness events, creating/updating communication channels, creating training material.
- Have the opportunity to take full ownership of your own topics, set up meetings, prepare them and present the results to your team.
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Preferred fields of study: Studies of business administration, business informatics, or adjacent disciplines
- Mandatory IT skills: Microsoft Office
- Language skills: Fluent in English and German are essential to deal with virtual and international teams
- General IT knowledge, interest in Project Management
- You should be an excellent team player with strong abilities to network and to work independently by using analytical and problem-solving skills and your willingness to learn quickly
