About the team:
The role on the SAP Signavio alliance team is fully focused on driving activation and adoption with our partners, as our mission is that that only with our ecosystem, we can help customers innovate through business process excellence in an ever-changing world. Because of the recent acquisition and integration, this role will be high paced and strategic with the opportunity to help shape the future of SAP Signavio. Due to how impactful alliances are to SAP Signavio, you'll be interacting with cross functional teams inside and outside of SAP Signavio, which include: Partner Business Managers, Regional Leaders, SAP Signavio Go-To-Market Sales Teams, Center of Excellence members, and many other colleagues. Below are high level field of focus for the alliances organization – the internship will focus on a subset of these: 

  • Create and execute specific partner plans agreed by alliances and sales leadership teams
  • Encourage and grow existing partner activities as well as establishing new ones strategic where possible
  • Ensure partners are enabled on how to position and deliver SAP Signavio
  • Work with partners to define and build business initiatives that will create uniqueness and incremental opportunities for SAP
  • Ensure an engagement model within Partners and SAP Signavio to strengthen business dynamic including establishing a governance
  • Establish training and enablement plans for our partners and internal teams so that they rapidly develop drive value to our end customers
  • Full ownership regarding joint business plan execution
  • Coordinate development of sales and marketing materials required for business development at SAP Signavio
  • Coordinate efforts with SAP GSSP global team and SAP Partner Edge organization
  • Motivate and support partner lead opportunities
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales
  • Evaluate effectiveness of partner programs and improves upon them
  • Take & develop some strategic projects when necessary

SAP Signavio is at the core of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise strategy by assisting our customers to navigate through their digital transformation journey, helping them understand, improve their business processes and reshape how business leaders think about their processes. With the recent acquisition of Signavio, SAP now provides an end-to-end suite of process transformation solutions positioning as the most competitive player in the market. 

The SAP Signavio alliances team’s main objective is to help drive adoption and activation of our business transformation suite to generate demand, accelerate sales pipeline, and drive successful projects across the globe.

The student internship opportunity provides hands on experience on various partner business models that drive success at SAP. You will be able to understand the contribution of all the different types of partners and how it aligns to our north star strategy and get your fingerprints on how we move from strategy to execution. Because of the recent acquisition of Signavio, this role offers a dynamic start-up environment allowing you an opportunity to plunge and contribute to the fastest growing business unit inside SAP. The role also provides ample exposure both to SAP-internal and external (partner) stakeholder, allowing for extensive network building.


Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. Gap year position also possible.

  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration. Other fields are welcome when the candidate brings strong business acumen.
  • Computer skills: Office applications, in particular Excel.
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Soft skills: Team player, creative, curiosity for learning about the ecosystem impact.
  • Others: previous hands-on working experience in B2B environments a plus …
