Senior Internal Strategic Consultant (f/m/d) RISE with SAP Project Management

YOUR FUTURE POSITION

In this position you work with key stakeholders across all areas of SAP to drive the orchestration and execution of SAP’s REINVENT Strategy as a project manager within the Best Run TopX portfolio. Being part of the Transformation Steering team, you will be driving strategic topics within the ‘New Business Initiatives’ program focused on ‘RISE with SAP’ execution. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of SAP’s strategy, RISE offering, as well as insight into the core functions within SAP and the Customer Journey.

You will be expected to quickly pick up and comprehend new topics, business scenarios, etc. to be able to successfully support a project management team as well as keeping our executives and top level management informed and empowered to effectively steer complex decisions. A sound stakeholder network across board areas within SAP is a plus.

This role includes the following tasks:

  • Operational management of complex, multi-year programs impacting various organizations and LoBs within SAP including but not limited to Portfolio & Pricing, Deal Execution, Fulfillment & Delivery, Service & Support, O2I, Core Finance, etc.
  • Act as a central point of contact regarding all project / program related queries for L1 / L2 managers
  • Prepare and provide clear and concise presentations to top level management and SAP executives for all project / program related topics
  • Track action items, prepare meeting materials, and ensure proper follow ups with all necessary stakeholders
  • Channel escalations into the respectively responsible channels

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines
  • 3+ years of working experience with proven track record in strategic project / process management or strategic consulting
  • Very good project management skills from conceptual work over coordination to execution/implementation
  • A proven track record in leading / supporting large agile projects
  • Ability to bring business requirements and technical design together and deliver on time and in budget under high management attention
  • Broad internal network on operational level preferred, ideally cross board areas
  • T-shaped profile, focus on big picture, while deep diving into project execution on operational level
  • C-level negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication in English incl. profound presentation and facilitation skills
  • Conceptual and structured work style with a strong sense for prioritization; result and execution oriented
  • Customer focus and strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills
  • Very strong analytical skills and creativity in solving complex challenges required; able to identify and manage business & technical dependencies

The SAP Transformation Office – as part of the People & Operations board area – aims to support SAP’s lines of businesses in their accountability to drive simplification within their domains. Pooling process experts who think across board area boundaries, the Transformation Office team helps the business to design efficient and effective end-to-end processes, derive respective business requirements and assure a seamless interfaces between the organizations involved, thus driving efficient & effective program execution.
