ABOUT THE TEAM

 

Global Treasury Front Office is responsible for managing SAP’s foreign exchange and interest rate risks, SAP’s financial assets, short term borrowings, Share Buybacks, supporting automation and collaboration with IT and SAP’s Development Team for higher rate of straight-through processing and is responsible for Financial Market Regulation.
The Global Treasury Front Office role involves managing FX hedging for SAP group companies for all related currency exposures and manages the investment of excess cash for the SAP group. 
The role will further support the organization to enhance SAP’s position as a thought leader in the Treasury area by providing analysis to review current processes and future best practices. The role will support IT project and technical enhancement of SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and SAP Trading Platform Integration (TPI).

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

In this role as a Senior Treasury Front Office Specialist (m/f/d) you will:

 

•    Conduct EUR investments on behalf of group entities in instruments such as term deposits, commercial paper, money market funds.
•    Support Foreign Exchange Management and execute respective FX transactions for the SAP group in all currency pairs.
•    Support EMIR audit for SAP SE which includes alignment with auditors and reviewing controls in place.
•    Review and present proposals to enhance current FX and investment strategy.  
•    Drive and coordinate cross-departmental and global projects; act as value adding business partner.
•    Support automation and optimization initiatives in collaboration with IT to enhance front office flexibility and capabilities. 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

•    Proactive and solution focussed on area of responsibilities with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Communicate effectively at different levels and deliver effective message to senior management, including c-level executives. 
•    Collaborate effectively with different internal and external stakeholders globally. 
•    Able to work in a self-driven and independent manner.

•    Knowledge of FX hedging strategies and managing FX exposure (using algos, trading platforms, risk transfers).
•    Previous experience with investments products (term deposits, MMF, Commercial papers and bonds)
•    Knowledge in Financial Markets and derivatives
•    Experience in investing and handling liquidity within a large organization.
•    Experience in working in virtual teams is an advantage and a gneral understanding of different cultural backgrounds
•    Result and self-driven personality with good collaboration and communication skills 
•    Highly motivated with an ability to work to tight deadlines and being a strong team player
•    Fluency in spoken and written English and German
•    Proficient in technology (TRM, SAP FI, 360T platform, ICD Platform)
•    Basic knowledge of (Treasury) accounting, SAP FI and Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) module
•    Banking experience preferred

 

Education and qualification:
•    University degree with focus on finance, economics and / or banking 
•    Three to five years of experience in a Treasury function or alternatively in banking
•    Quantitative analysis experience and legal contract negotiation (agreeing on DRV/ISDA or derivative contracts) desirable
