YOUR FUTURE ROLE
 

Come and join our dynamic Corporate Portfolio Team within the Corporate Strategy, Portfolio & Transformation area (OCEO). We are looking for a talented strategic portfolio expert to manage exciting challenges of continuously monitoring SAP's product portfolio, to drive cross-portfolio strategic projects/ PoVs and support & advise our executive board and senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the portfolio performance, share new insights with corresponding stakeholders and provide fact-based proposals on strategic investment- & divestment areas
• Conduct quantitative analyses using our internal data sources and systems
• Support the design and governance of the annual portfolio planning process
• Initiate, lead or be involved into cross-portfolio related projects to help SAP focus the portfolio
• Proactive portfolio management cross solution areas through the entire product lifecycle
• Prepare portfolio related PoVs to address various strategic, product and go-to-market topics
• Closely collaborate with our sibling teams in corporate strategy, corporate transformation, competitive market intelligence and corporate development
• Act as trusted advisor and portfolio evangelist to SAP's senior leaders and executives

YOUR PROFILE

We look for a self-starter, ideally with product portfolio domain expertise and able to cope with a rapidly changing environment, comfortable to deal with ambiguity and being conceptually strong.

• Ability to conduct sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analyses across a broad range of portfolio topics and to formulate recommendations
• At least 10 years of professional work experience, preferably in Controlling with superior understanding of Controlling and Finance processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Strategic understanding of market- and macroeconomic environment, latest product and technology innovations and industry dynamics
• Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or MBA
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell) required
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
• Sound communicator with business acumen and a team player
• Fluent in English and German mandatory

Corporate Portfolio is the expert team on SAP’s portfolio performance residing within Corporate Strategy, Portfolio & Transformation. The team reports into SAP's Chief Strategy & Operations Officer, Office of the CEO. We are combining tasks like portfolio management, strategic projects, and cross topics and ensure a consistent execution of our strategy across the entire organization.
