What you`ll do:

 

We are looking for a Technical Presales Manager - Microsoft Office 365 Solutions to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our customers and partners, including system integrators, in our sovereign Delos Cloud environment. This role is essential for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners by providing technical expertise, support, and guidance in deploying, migrating and optimizing Microsoft Office 365 solutions tailored to cleared cloud operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective deployment and integration of Office 365 within our customers' environments while supporting system integrators with technical insights and recommendations.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Customer Engagement:

  • Act as the primary technical liaison for customers and partners, especially system integrators, helping them understand and implement Office 365 solutions within our sovereign Delos Cloud environment.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, develop tailored solutions, and provide ongoing technical support for Office 365 implementations.

Partner Collaboration:

  • Work closely with external partners, including system integrators, to ensure they have the technical knowledge and tools required to successfully migrate & deploy Office 365 solutions in highly regulated and secure environments.
  • Provide technical training, documentation, and resources to partners, ensuring they understand Office 365 features, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Solution Design & Deployment:

  • Lead and support the deployment of Office 365 solutions for customers, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Oversee migration projects for customers transitioning from legacy systems to Office 365, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to best practices.

Security & Compliance Support:

  • Ensure that all customer solutions meet strict security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist partners and customers in configuring and maintaining Office 365 environments that comply with security requirements for classified or sensitive data.

Technical Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for Office 365 issues, particularly those experienced by customers and partners working in secure environments.
  • Engage with Microsoft’s support teams when necessary to resolve complex issues and keep customers informed throughout the process.

Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support:

  • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during the pre-sales phase, conducting demos, answering technical questions, and ensuring proposed solutions meet client needs.
  • Post-sale, work closely with the customer and system integrator teams to ensure successful deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Office 365 solutions.

Training & Enablement:

  • Provide regular training sessions, technical workshops, and documentation for both customers and partners on Office 365 functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting strategies.
  • Actively engage with partners to keep them informed of new Office 365 features, updates, and innovations that may impact or improve their operations.

Continuous Improvement & Feedback Loop:

  • Gather feedback from customers and partners regarding their experiences with Office 365 deployments and provide insights to internal teams for product or process improvement.
  • Stay updated on new Office 365 features, updates, and industry trends, ensuring customers and partners are informed of opportunities to enhance their environments.

What you bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in supporting or deploying Microsoft Office 365 solutions, particularly for external customers or within partner ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience working with system integrators and/or government customers in highly regulated industries.
  • Proven experience in managing Office 365 migrations and implementations within cleared environments.
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements related to Office 365.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive) and relevant administration portals.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automating Office 365 management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work closely with both technical and business teams to develop and deliver Office 365 solutions.
  • Fluency in German & English

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Office 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) 
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-100, MD-101) 
  • Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-100, MS-101) 
  • ITIL, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
