What you'll do
For SAP’s central AI platform engineering team responsible for the AI Core product and the generative AI hub, we are searching for a working student (f/m/d), with a focus on but not limited to performance.
As a working student in Performance, you will run performance tests and report on the test results, which currently includes manual steps. Your main goal is to promote automation, so that validation and reporting of test results is less error-prone, comparison of test results is easier, and validation and reporting is less time-consuming. Your role will be to participate in designing and implementing approaches to promote this automation.
Tasks as working student in Performance include:
- Familiarizing and enhancing the performance test framework of AI Core, which is based on Locust (Python)
- Running and reporting on performance tests for AI Core
- Implementing approaches to promote automation
- Testing and bug fixing your implementation, documenting your work
- Collaborating and sharing your results with the team
What you bring
Required:
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, in a relevant study program
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Experience with REST APIs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English and interpersonal skills
- Be able to come to the office location (Walldorf) at least once a week
Helpful:
- Experience with cloud-based systems using Kubernetes running on AWS, GCP or Azure, or containerization technologies using Docker
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
