What you'll do

Being a part of SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) Security Engineering unit is both unique and exciting. We enjoy working with cloud-native technologies and take pride in building high-impact security services at the core of the cloud platform. Bringing our ideas to life and shipping our code into production to safeguard SAP’s customer’s most critical business data in the cloud, is what we are aiming for.

As Working Student, you’ll take on the crucial role of researching, designing, and implementing new functionalities. Timely project delivery is vital, but so is maintaining the high-quality standards we have set. In the spirit of teamwork, we encourage you to contribute not solely through your technical skills but also through collaborative efforts, as your contributions play a significant part in ensuring the success of our team.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Skills: knowledge in Node.js
• Language skills: fluent in German and English
• Soft skills: team player, self-managed, security and cloud-native mindset, willingness to learn new technologies

Meet your team

We are a young, passionate, and small team developing and operating cloud-native services in the realm of Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs). In our day-to-day work we develop new features and ensure secure and high available operations. Our services are at the center of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and critical to secure communication for SAP and customer products. Our department provides solutions with focus on cryptography, geo-blocking and zero trust.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages. This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their career.
