ABOUT THE TEAM

 

SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) is SAP’s CIO organization. Our mission is to deliver IT solutions enabling our company’s business operations while creating best-in-class user experience and serving as a role-model for SAP’s customers by demonstrating the vision of Intelligent Enterprise coming to life.

Being part of IES, the Enterprise Architecture Group plays a vital role in shaping the architecture of the core IT solutions for all SAP’s lines-of-business: from Marketing and Sales to Financials and Services. Our operations are driven by practical aspects enterprise architecture as well as the principles of Lean and Agile applied to the context of a large enterprise.

 

THE ROLE

 

We are looking for a working student to join our team part-time (20 hours per week) for a period of 12 months or more to support us in the areas of:

  • Architecture modelling and IT portfolio management with industry standard tools LeanIX and JIRA
  • Creation of fact sheets and reports; testing and maintenance of the tools’ integration
  • Maintenance of the teams’ site in MS Sharepoint
  • Helping us with other smaller or larger tasks

In this role, you will have a unique chance to

  • experience the IT organization of a DAX company from the inside,
  • learn about the core IT disciplines of enterprise architecture and architecture modelling,
  • learn about a market-leading tool for enterprise architecture management,

thus preparing for you next successful career step in the IT business!

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Enrolled (f/m) for Bachelor or Master studies of computer science and/or business informatics
  • General understanding of Enterprise Architecture and architecture modelling.
  • Hands-on experience of architecture modelling or business process modelling is a plus.
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams
  • Hands-on experience with LeanIX, JIRA, ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Programming skills / experience are a plus
  • Very good verbal and written communication in English, German is a plus
  • Soft skills: excellent communication skills, and a high degree of motivation and initiative, proactive and self-dependent working style, goal oriented and affinity to structure

Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
