Working Student (f/m/d) - Java Developer for Optimization and extension of Junit test suites
We help the world run better
At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.
What you'll do
Our team is developing and maintaining a software tool to update SAP’s S/4 Hana Public cloud systems. The software is developed with a Scrum based development process. The software is mainly created with the Java and ABAP programming language. Therefore, the team consists of Java and ABAP developers who have created an important tool for SAP’s cloud strategy.
You will work in an agile team with modern open-source frameworks. To ensure the high quality of the tool a comprehensive test suite was built over time. This test suite is based on Junit4 and should be updated to Junit5 on the one hand. On the other hand, the massive amount of tests causes in the meantime a long runtime of the whole test suite. The other and more important goal is to reduce this runtime.
