The Office of the President of the HANA Database and Analytics team supports the development and management tasks, including communications and events, in the day-to-day business of running a ~4.000 people development organization within SAP. The HD&A team spans across the world with development units in many countries of the world and we develop some of the core technologies and applications to support the growing success of SAP in the Cloud.

Our role is to ensure the content preparation of management meetings – usually at Board level -, to prepare  customer meetings, to support the entire Leadership team within HD&A and to communicate between the board, managers, and the employees. 




The working student will be supporting the Office of the President of the HANA Database and Analytics team with communication activities that require support in any of the following areas:

  • Internal and employee communications for SAP HD&A, via diverse channels, such as e-mails, Jam, SharePoint, newsletters, blogs
  • Content creation including interviews, blogs
  • PR Coverage for SAP HD&A
  • Maintain Communications Inbox 
  • Support and organization of SAP HD&A-internal events, such as all-hands meetings, coffee corner sessions on L1 level
  • Provision of guidance for communications colleagues on HD&A L2 level
  • Creation of presentations (PPT) in preparation of meetings.




  • Student (f/m/d) at a university
  • Preferred fields of study: Economics, Management, Communication, IT
  • Computer skills: MS Office
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Business communication skills
  • Soft skills: very organized, self-starter mentality, organized, ability to work remotely, team player
