ABOUT THE TEAM


We are a highly motivated and service-oriented team, working as a service provider for the entire EA organization and its internal business customers. We are functioning as the technical backbone by providing stable and performant analytical platforms and are SAPs first customer when it comes to our product portfolio for analytics. In this role we are also an important partner of our product organization and are driving quality and functional initiatives in a cooperative model.  
The team is distributed over several locations which requires constant communication and a sense for synergies between the topics. Be part of our team and help us paving the way for an easy and seamless consumption of analytics at SAP!   

 

THE ROLE


The mission of Enterprise Analytics (EA) is to build the foundation for SAP to become an intelligent enterprise by serving data and analytics demands throughout SAP; ensuring correct and consistent data is available for the people and processes who/which need it right when they need it.
As Analytics Experience Team within EA we act as platform and service provider to the organization itself and to the business end users. Our goal is to provide stable platforms and offer the best possible analytics experience. We are operating various analytical platforms on premise and in the cloud like e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects, Data Warehouse Cloud and an own Business Technology Platform Account.
In your role you will be supporting our Data Democratization project to enable the organization to efficiently use our technology platforms and services. This includes tasks like e.g.:

  • Support our internal processes
  • Be responsible for governance and monitoring activities
  • Create and enhance current reports
  • Create data models
  • Plan, organize and help facilitate internal processes
  • Use and administer tools, channels, and platforms
  • Collect and track data

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university – studying Business Informatics, Informatics, Information Technology or related
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills – you should be able to quickly understand new information
  • Ability to abstract complex technical topics and make them digestible for other people
  • Motivation to work conceptually and constructively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Curiosity about business processes and sense for value propositions
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently and possess a positive self-motivated can-do attitude 
  • Service-orientation and a fable for helping people 
  • Experience with SAP technologies such as HANA, Data Warehouse, Business Objects, SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP-Core), SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud is a plus
  • Fluency in English and advanced skills in German
