The Innovation Engineering team is responsible for innovation projects on enterprise-scale to complement SAP’s solution portfolio in the data and analytics area, solving SAP’s unique challenges. You will contribute to the customer-centric design and realization of new ways of data and insights consumption at SAP and beyond by applying state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and frameworks along the entire software development lifecycle.



We have many exciting topics for you to bring your project management, product management and communication skills to bear. We are looking for someone who likes to take the initiative and who is passionate about Agile Software Engineering, data analysis and thirst for knowledge. Your tasks will include either of the following:

  • Work closely with the team especially the Product Owners of our internal innovation projects to support them along Agile Software Engineering, including 
    • User research, User Journey Mapping, Product Backlog Management,
    • Creating user & feature concepts,
    • validating designs with end-users.
  • Support the team in the preparation of presentations to business stakeholders and enablement materials for end-users.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as well as project support (on demand) incl. to plan, drive, and execute projects.




  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: economics, technology, psychology, consulting
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office skills is a must, e-mail systems, and in general no fear to work in new, mostly web-based systems
  • Language skills: fluent in English and German
  • Soft skills: team player, expert in organizing, social skills to work with different types of SAP colleagues ranging from geeks to more product-related profiles
  • Others: skills in project management, communication and enablement are a plus, as our team is confronted with a constant need to simplify messages and access to the tools developed by the team

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
