About the team

SAP Solution Extensions are strategic 3rd party solutions developed by our most innovative software providers (SolEx Partners) which offer cross-line of business and cross-industry functionality that address your client’s distinct business needs. SAP supports these solutions as our own, guaranteeing the standards of quality and support SAP clients expect.


Intensive collaboration with these partners ensures the success. Internal strategic positioning and coordination in daily business are important tasks and are determined by a strong collaboration with the partners and various internal stakeholders from Marketing, to Sales, Legal and Finance.


To succeed our goals in this area numerous activities have to be planned and coordinated together with our partners on a regional and local level, e.g. internal field enablement is offered, regular reviews with partners and the sales teams are conducted, demand generation initiatives are planned and executed.


The role

This dynamic environment with strategic Solution Extension Partners in the region Middle and Eastern Europe includes a broad and interesting set of tasks every day.

The student  apprentice (f/m/d) will get great insights into the partner management business which also provides the opportunity to broaden his/her network internally and externally of SAP. Diversity of activities, regular contact to local and regional management and dynamic of the market require a flexible working method with autonomous and innovative behavior. Core tasks will include:


  • Preparation of customized reports from SAP Enterprise Analytics Store to analyse the business status and monitor the sales pipeline and pipeline progression
  • Organization of events e.g. Partner QBRs and partner meetings (both virtual and physical)
  • Field communication tasks
  • Supporting demand generation initiatives
  • Maintenance of GTM activities in Partner Collaboration Tool (WorkSpan)
  • Support with administrative tasks
  • Become an integral part of the extended SolEx Team in the region
  • Furthermore, you should be an excellent fast learner and be proactive to best support the business and the team
  • The working environment will allow you to bring in your ideas and try new things, which can positively impact the business


Role requirements

  • Student (f/m/d) - preferred field(s) of study:  Business Administration or equivalent
  • Computer skills:  Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Language skills:  English and German fluent
  • Soft skills:   good communication skills, open minded, pragmatic, flexible, Team player
  • Others:   Knowledge in data extraction and analysis, “can do” attitude, proactivity.
