Working Student (f/m/d) User Experience Design (FIGMA - Web Design System)

What you'll do

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects, refining invaluable skills, and garnering experience in the design industry. If you believe you are a good fit for the position, we would love to see your portfolio and discuss how your expertise could benefit our team!   


•    Build a component library to ensure consistency across applications   
•    Generate a clear and concise documentation for using the various components and variables 
•    Maintain the library to keep it updated and version-controlled 
•    Create responsive components with variants and booleans that can be reused from Designers   
•    Collaborate closely with our Figma team both onsite and remotely

What you bring

 

•    Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, etc.)   
•    Can consistently contribute 10-20 hours per week to our team both onsite and remotely   
•    Have a reliable and stable internet for remote work
•    Have a comprehensive understanding of Figma   
•    Possess a proven track record in creating component libraries 
•    Demonstrate grasp of design system concepts, and understand how to create and implement a scalable and reusable design system   
•    Are detail-oriented and structured in your approach to work   
•    Understand basic design principles such as color theory, typography, layout etc.   
•    Capable of designing user-focused elements that propel an intuitive experience   
•    Have a basic knowledge about code (i.e. CSS, HTML and JavaScript is a plus)   
•    Understand how to manage and update versions of components   
•    Language skills: Fluent in English and German

The SAP Design System Team is focused on evolving the SAP design system, design language, and best practices to increase overall design quality and development velocity. We establish the DNA that makes SAP Products unique. We build the Design Systems that bring the language to life. We create standards and guidance to ensure consistency. 


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
