ABOUT THE TEAM


The Innovation Engineering team is responsible for innovation projects on enterprise-scale to complement SAP’s solution portfolio in the data and analytics area, solving SAP’s unique challenges. You will contribute to the customer-centric design and realization of new ways of data and insights consumption at SAP and beyond by applying state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and frameworks along the entire software development lifecycle.


THE ROLE


We have many exciting topics for you to bring your design and communication skills to bear. We are looking for someone who likes to take the initiative and who is passionate about user experience, data analysis and thirst for knowledge. Your tasks will include either of the following:

  • Work closely with the team covering the entire usability engineering lifecycle, including 
    • supporting user research,
    • creating low and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using SAP’s dec,
    • validating designs with end-users.
  • You create proof-of-concept solutions and demos to highlight the benefits and feasibility of the team’s futuristic ideas.
  • Support the team in the preparation of presentations to business stakeholders and enablement materials for end-users.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as well as project support (on demand)

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in Interaction Design / Product Design / User Experience Design or related fields
  • Professional working experience in latest design tools such as Figma, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and especially PowerPoint) are mandatory
  • Potentially some technical knowledge in translation technologies, machine translation, content management systems etc.
  • A great eye for detail, especially when it comes to UI and Visual Design
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and German, French as a plus
  • Open personality and professional communication style
  • Self-driven and very flexible team player with high level of motivation


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
