What you'll do

You will support the team in writing high quality code and tests mainly in Python and Go to develop the future cloud infrastructure of the SAP HANA Database & Analytics Cloud.
The specific tasks are based on the individual skill level.
As a student your working hours will be flexible with a maximum of 20 hours each week during the semester based on hourly wage, up to 40 hours during the semester break. 


What you bring


  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in the area of computer science or similar
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Golang, Groovy
  • Initial experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud native tools is a plus
  • Very good language skills in English, German is a plus
  • Team player, can-do attitude, self-motivated

The Common Service Infrastructure team is responsible for a set of integrated data platform and infrastructure services, which are the foundation of SAP HANA Cloud, Data Warehouse Cloud, Analytics Cloud and Data Intelligence. 
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud providers. We enjoy pushing beyond the limits of what’s currently possible, which also requires close collaboration with our cloud technology partners.
