What you'll do

The position is assigned to the External Reporting & Accounting Technology team at Global Accounting, Reporting & Tax department. The team is responsible for SAP’s Group external reporting – financial & non-financial – as well as implementation of SAP’s accounting technology into internal processes.
This role will support the team in the External Reporting area and support SAP’s quarterly and year-end reporting processes and tasks and support the implementation of new regulation in the ESG area.  

What you bring

Good understanding of IFRS accounting rules as well as in the area of sustainability reporting

• University studies with special topics in finance, preferably accounting and/or auditing and completion of bachelor degree in that area
• Good skills in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)
• Very good English skills and fluent German skills
• Collaborative team member in both virtual and non-virtual teams.
• Eager to work in an international environment.

Meet your team

You are working in the External Reporting and Accounting Technology team within the Global Accounting, Reporting & Tax (GART) department of SAP. This department is directly assigned to the CFO of SAP and is responsible for the completeness and correctness of SAP’s accounting and external reporting (Integrated Report etc.) under German and International law. 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
