ABOUT THE TEAM


IE BS Maintain Deal Solutions is responsible for the implementation and operation of SAP’s own commercial billing platform. Are you ready to drive SAP to Run Simple and be an integral part of Digital Transformation? THE ROLE


We are searching for students with strong interest in scaled agile practices that enable best in class IT solutions for our pay-per-use business processes.


As a working student, you would support the IT scrum master to:

  • Uphold the five Scrum Values: Focus, Openness, Courage, Respect, Commitment
  • Manage the Scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, etc.) for our implementation scrum teams
  • Facilitate retrospectives to improve the team’s performance
  • Live servant leadership and the creation of communication channels between teams and act as “ONE TEAM” from strategy to execution.
  • Creation of boards, filters and advanced jQueries to help drive insight to action

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS


We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results.

In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: resourcefulness, tenacity, high energy and self-confidence.

Desired skills are:

  • Student at a university or a university of applied science
  • Preferred fields of study in engineering and/or information technology. Software engineering education past or present is very beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and apply Scrum, Kanban, ScrumBan collaboration models.
  • Willingness to learn and apply methods that improve backlog management and understanding.
  • Willingness to learn and work with Wiki as well as Jira.  Integration of agile toolsets a possibility.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a SAFe scaled agile environment. 
  • Exposure to better agile software development methods such as behavior driven development or hypothesis driven development
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language
  • Ability to work in an international, virtual team and act as “team player”
  • Interaction and contribution to agile software engineering forums and communities shows initiative


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
