What you'll do

We aim to offer developers an outstanding experience through precise documentation and a structured approach to learning ABAP. We are looking to design and implement a public ABAP Cloud landing page using GitHub Pages, guiding developers and computer science students efficiently through the essentials of ABAP programming.

Key Responsibilities

• User Assistance Development
  • Supporting the design and formatting of developer-facing documentation.
  • Keep code samples up to date for developers to access current examples.
  • Create videos and blogs about different software features.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, including graphics and programming examples.
  • Define terminology that is simple, consistent and conforms to industry standards.
  • Proofread and edit documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Media Design and Communication
  • Design and create a public landing page using GitHub Pages.
  • Organize resources for ABAP and CDS according to developer expertise levels.
  • Collaborate with our development, user assistance and product management teams to deliver additional resources, such as FAQs, step-by-step tutorials, video tutorials, and screencasts.
  • Integrate information about SAP BTP ABAP job opportunities and promote student-centered events.

What you bring

• University student (f/m/d) in fields such as Media Design, Technical Writing, Media and Communication Sciences or Linguistic Studies.
• Proficient computer skills, including XML, DITA, MS Office, GitHub, Wikis, Video Creation, Multimedia, Social Media.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills with the passion for programming and ambition to understand SAP software products.
• Excellent communication skills, a cooperative mindset, and the ability to simplify complex concepts and present them clearly.
• Team player with an agile working mindset.
• Experience with multimedia tools, social media or programming skills is an advantage
• Provide evidence or references for your expertise
