PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

The IBSO Engineering Europe C/4&SCP team offers software development services and customer project support services within the SAP Innovative Business Solutions organization. The team works in close interaction with selected customers, SAP Consulting and SAP Teams to enable close customer interaction and collaboration with our regional field teams. The right people ensure the success of our projects. We are looking for a person who brings development, support and customer management experience and enjoys building new businesses and networks to implement our business growth strategy.

We offer you a position as a Project Manager in a highly motivated team focusing on customer-specific product development and support along the SAP product strategy around mainly SAP business scenarios. Your area of responsibility would comprise the implementation of selected customer-specific solutions. Wherever possible, we offer opportunities for professional development and coaching.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

  • Drive implementations projects
  • Create, maintain and monitor the project plan
  • Ensure that deliverables and milestones are met and provided in time within budget and to the customer satisfaction
  • Be responsible for the accurate revenue projection for the project
  • Establish a trustful and constructive working relation between the stakeholders
  • Ensure coordination across the team deliveries (customer and SAP teams)

 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

Required skills

  • Excellent customer management skills
  • Customer facing skills, e.g. active listening, empathy, problem solving, self-confidence
  • Ability to “read" Customers
  • Proficient handling of internal and external stakeholders (inter-divisional and cross-company)
  • Strong experience in agile development methodology and development lifecycle
  • Proven ability to work with customers on project- and senior management level
  • Project management skills
  • Broad understanding of SAP solutions
  • Strong quality and customer focus
  • Ability to think analytically as well as to work methodically and independently
  • Team player
  • Out-of-the-box thinking
  • Ability to work in a globally distributed organization and eagerness to work with people of other cultures

 

Preferred skills

  • University Degree in information technology, engineering, business or related area
  • Engineering expertise and technical capabilities with hands-on experience
  • Business fluent in English and German

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP business software both in development and product management
  • Proven record in delivering complex projects on time, within budget and in quality
  • Excellent understanding of the Cloud business – market and technology
  • Excellent project management skills
