PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Within SAP, the Business Innovation & IT (BI&IT) organization as internal IT department is responsible for evolving SAP’s IT strategy and executing on it. The IT Procure2Pay Team is responsible for the End-to-End delivery of SAP’s business processes.

With our newly established initiative “Procurement Innovation Transformation (PIT) Team”, we focus on end-user needs for all procurement related topics where we evolve innovative and sustainable ideas into next generation processes and solutions. Target is to develop apps which improve the daily business of our end-users on a short term. Mid and long term target is to provide individual procurement channels, to create transparency and to ensure an ultimate shopping experience.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a working student (f/m) we offer you an unique learning opportunity by being part of the ”Procurement Innovation Transformation (PIT) Team” from scratch with focus on enduser centricity. Make an impact by supporting us in changing the current procurement processes to a better shopping experience for end users. Be part of shaping a new initiative to a well-established team within the procurement community.

Support us and take over your own work package based on your strengths in the different project activities:

  • design of new requirements and ideas
  • end-user management
  • surveys and user research
  • marketing activities
  • app implementation
  • testing
  • change management

Start as soon as possible, duration 4-6 months, part-time (at minimum 16 hours per week)

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m) - preferred field(s) of study: Business or combination of Business & IT
  • Computer skills: Strong skills in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Language skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, intermedate German skills
  • Soft skills:
    • Willingness to change solid patterns
    • A high degree of motivation and Initiative
    • Proactive and self-dependent working style
    • Goal oriented and affinity to structure
    • Others: Knowledge of UX design (but not required)
