Cloud Architecture & Advisory is an integral part of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization. ECS drives and develops the S/4HANA Private Cloud portfolio to cater to our customers’ needs and operates most of the RISE landscapes.
The Cloud Architects & Advisors are a group of highly motivated and customer focused people, which validate the technical feasibility of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud deals during the presales phase and are the trusted advisor post signature. This is crucial to ensure all customers get landscapes that match their requirements and to drive the customer adoption of SAPs cloud offering.
The Mandate of the Cloud Architect & Advisor spans the initial sales cycle , the subsequent change request and renewal events for S/4HANA private cloud architecture changes. The CAA advises customer and internal account teams on SAP’s private cloud offerings, assesses the technical feasibility of customer’s requirements and transitions those requirements to our delivery teams for system provisioning and delivery to the customer.
What you’ll do
As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the technical foundation of RISE with SAP engagements. The mandate of the Cloud Architect & Advisor spans the initial sales cycle , the subsequent change request and renewal events for S/4HANA private cloud architecture changes. You’ll advises customer and internal account teams on SAP’s private cloud offerings, assesses the technical feasibility of customer’s requirements and transitions those requirements as technical landscape design to our delivery teams for system provisioning and delivery to the customer.
What you bring
- Customer facing mindset
- High proficiency in customer communication and presentations
- Basic understanding of the technical operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment
- Good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Understanding of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recovery is a benefit
- Good understanding of the entire platform stack (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
- Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
- SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills are a benefit
- Self-sufficient worker and strong team player
- Affinity to technical topics, willingness to tackle aspects outside the comfort zone and to continuously learn
- Fluency in German and English is a must, any other language an asset
