IT Lean-Agile Portfolio Management Senior Advisor

What you'll do

As an IT Lean-Agile Portfolio Management Senior Consultant (f/m/d) on our team, you will shape and define the Lean-Agile Portfolio Management capability of the IT organization. You will closely collaborate with the Portfolio Management team and managers to assess and review current practices, identify improvement opportunities, prepare changes and enable to organization to adopt them.

Concretely, you will

  • Lead or participate in workshops to align, review and maintain portfolio management processes, roles, events, artifacts and policies
  • Review the current portfolio management capability to identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop and define improvements, particularly for better integration of value definition and measurement; and consideration of value within economic frameworks for decision making
  • Advise and coach portfolio stakeholders and their managers on adopting required practices - Present changes and report newly adopted concepts or definitions to management stakeholders

What you bring

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Industrial Engineering. A focus on process improvement or project management would be of advantage.
  • Knowledge of and work experience with lean portfolio management aligned to the Scaled Agile Framework
  • Work experience working with agile teams that apply some of the following methodologies or practices: Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
  • Open mindset, the passion to work with people, and a positive can-do-attitude
  • Fluent English Language
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
