Meet your team:

You will join the SAP Cloud ERP UX - Digital Supply Chain team. As a part of this team, you will design products that promise to shape the future of business applications in the Digital Supply Chain space. These products encompass all the phases of the supply chain -everything from design to delivery. You will leverage technologies such as SAP Business AI, machine learning, predictive analysis and SAP’s industry leading cloud technologies to build end-to-end solutions that power the Intelligent Enterprise.

Together with our customers, you will design next generation solutions by employing SAP’s Design Led Development process. You will support strategic product teams to ride the wave of new trends and seed new concepts into the organization. You will offer design services to build products that deliver immense business value to our customers.

 

What you’ll do:

As a UX Design Expert, you will be part of our multi-disciplinary team  that includes researchers, interaction designers and visual designers

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Own and drive the design problems from ideation to execution.
  • Analyse customer behaviours, industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and provide insights on how to differentiate our products in the market from a User Experience perspective.
  • Help bring clarity into projects that have unclear scope, ambiguity, or high complexity and support translation of business product goals and requirements into cutting-edge design concepts.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering at a strategic level to frame what should be built and how to get there.
  • Participate in every facet of the product development process: product ideation, user research, usability testing and analysis of UX metrics to derive actionable insights.
  • Create user scenarios, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, detailed specifications and oversee its implementation from a quality and content integration standpoint.
  • Steadily build expertise on the product/ domain by participating in preparing scenarios for executive and customer demoes, usability tests etc.
  • Work with Design System and Infrastructure team to leverage the latest design system and contribute to its continuous innovation.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in UX and Product Design, preferably working within an Enterprise Software domain, ideally in Supply Chain planning, manufacturing or logistics. Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
  • You have a track record of shipping high quality products.
  • You have outstanding collaboration and stakeholder management skills that enable you to successfully drive projects and topics on a global scale.
  • Ability to articulate rationale of design and research decision in a clear and logical manner via conversations or presentations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, User Experience Design or other related fields.
  • You should be proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • You have a portfolio that displays a spectrum of creative design solutions and excellent understanding of fundamental design principles & information architecture.
  • Experience with prototyping to explore and convey design solutions.Fluency in both written and spoken English.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 139000 - 236200(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
