ABOUT THE TEAM

SAP Datasphere is a comprehensive data service built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) that enables every data professional to deliver seamless and scalable access to mission-critical business data. It is the next generation of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, with new capabilities that enhance data discovery, modeling, and distribution. With a unified experience for data integration, data cataloging, semantic modeling, data warehousing, data federation, and data virtualization, SAP Datasphere enables data professionals to easily distribute authoritative business data – with business context and logic preserved – across the data landscape.

The CI/CD and Development Infrastructure Team located in Xi’an develops tools and processes to build, deploy, and run the data integration services of SAP Datasphere. The team drives improvements in continous integration and provide self-service tools for development teams to create next generation data integration features.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Developer for the CI/CD and Development Infrastructure Team, you will design, implement, and operate scalable and performant CI/CD pipelines and internal services that improve our data integration services.

We are looking for a developer who is passionate about technology, driven to solve complex problems, and excited to keep learning.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

· Degree in Computer Science or related field

· 3+ years of experience in software product development with the focus on development operations and cloud engineering

· Proven track record of software development and development operations

· Required software development skills

o Building CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Argo

o Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes etc.

o Expertise in Git and repository management

o Cloud integration and deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure

o Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Golang, Python, Groovy, Java, JavaScript

o Understanding in DevOps methodologies and principles.

· Knowledge in BTP build services and runtimes (e.g., Hyperspace, xmake, Piper, Kyma, Gardener) a plus
