What you`ll do

Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic (Junior) Cloud Native Developer to join the GCID PlusOne team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing and supporting data protection services, working with exciting projects within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure as well as public cloud platforms. This position is a hands-on technical role spanning across design, build, and operations with a focus on issue resolution to remove customer technical obstacles and adoption challenges. You will leverage your problem-solving expertise to help customers to realize their objectives and improve the SAP Cloud Infrastructure.

The Role:

• Demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt
• Developing highly performant, reusable software with a focus on writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Documenting, automatically testing, and deploying software using CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborating closely with Architects, Product Owners (POs), Support Groups, and other key stakeholders to deliver seamless and scalable solutions
• Staying updated with advancements in frontend frameworks and backend technologies to ensure modern application development
• Following agile development methods, contributing to team improvements, and participating in iterative development cycles

What you bring

• You have a of solid understanding of Scrum and Agile development methodologies
• Hands-on experience back-end technologies including Python, GoLang, Microservices
• Knowledge and proficiency on openstack, Azure, GCP, AWS. (a valuable advantage)
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD technologies
• Flexibility as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to efficiently master complex processes
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
