The Role: 

We are seeking an accomplished IT Architecture Senior Specialist (f/m/d) who consistently delivers high-quality results to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. In this role, you will significantly contribute to SAP’s strategic goals by supporting our customers in their SAP S/4HANA adoption journey on the path to becoming an Intelligent Enterprise. 

What You'll Do: 

• Lead technical and architectural discussions with customers, developing solution roadmaps. 

• Analyze and implement SAP support methodologies. 

• Provide in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, upgrades, and conversions. 

• Utilize SAP high-availability and disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtualization technologies (e.g., load balancers, virtual machines). 

• Take ownership and lead tasks and activities related to upgrades. 

• Deliver high-quality upgrade services to ensure stable operations. 

What You Bring: 

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Technical Administration, ideally with SAP Basis expertise. 

• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic, remote team. 

• Strong background in SAP solutions, products, cloud technologies, and multiple SAP/non-SAP technologies. 

• Expertise in S/4HANA architectures, upgrade, and S/4 conversion, with relevant certifications (SAP S/4HANA upgrade, OS/DB migration) preferred. 

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SAP HANA, technical architecture, implementation, and change management. 

• Knowledge of at least one hyperscaler cloud platform (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP). 

• Willingness to travel for customer discussions on upgrade projects; excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services is part of SAP’s Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) organization. Our unit focuses on delivering managed private cloud services and includes both technical and customer-facing roles to ensure optimal service delivery for our customers.
