What you´ll build
We are looking for a working student to support us with the implementation and evaluation of recent research results in the agentic AI literature and their adoption within an SAP context. Our team focuses on building, analyzing, and benchmarking (multi-)agent systems according to the newest research insights. In your role, you will be supporting the team by quickly building prototypes that reproduce experimental findings from the literature. One possible task is to integrate a human-in-the-loop workflow into our existing agent benchmark and systematically compare the performance of semi-autonomous systems against fully autonomous ones. It is also expected that you will experiment and assess new programming techniques like vibe coding for acceleration of this prototyping process. Your tasks include also investigation of quality and purpose of the code created. For this, you should bring a strong analytical understanding of software engineering with you.
You will be part of a team assigned to a newly created frontrunner project. As such, you should be open to adapting to a dynamically evolving environment and frequent updates of the operational processes.
What you bring
Required skills
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
- Good programming skills in at least one programming language (preferrable Python, more is better)
- Experience with software development
- Fluency in German or English
Preferred skills
- Proficiency with software design and architecture
- Interest to experiment with new techniques like vibe coding
- Ability to communicate accurately and proactively
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Prior expertise with artificial intelligence and machine learning, knowledge of agent-based systems is a plus
